A J Bolt is a specialized anchor bolt shaped like the letter “J,” designed to be embedded in concrete foundations before pouring. The hooked end provides superior pull-out resistance, creating a powerful, permanent connection point for securing structural elements like steel columns, wood posts, and sill plates.
J-Shaped Hooked End: The 180-degree bend at the embedded end creates a powerful mechanical interlock within the cured concrete, providing exceptional resistance to uplift and pull-out forces.
Threaded Exposed End: The top section is threaded to allow for the secure attachment of nuts and washers, enabling the fastening of structural components.
